How long have you been playing WoW?
6 years, on and off. A lot more off than on.

How did you start playing WoW?
I received it as a Christmas gift and knew nothing about it until I installed it and entered the world.

Favorite race/class/spec?
I haven’t played them all yet so I don’t know if I can answer this yet! However, I do have a special place in my heart for Holy Priests because it’s what I started with (well, Holy after leveling shadow to start) and I did lots of Heals in dungeons with my guildies back in the day.

Why Darkwind?
Why NOT Darkwind? It’s fabulous! People are laid back and eager to come help with the going gets tough out there in Azeroth. I’ve been taught many things. I am MOST thankful for Widowmaker who has helped immensely in gearing and in learning the ropes of important quests, dailies and the Ins and Outs of raids (and tanking as my monk) And I think that all started by him answering questions I had in guild chat. You can make friends very quickly in Darkwind.

If Blizzard were to shut down all servers tomorrow, what game are you playing?
The Sims because I adore it. It’s Barbie dolls for adults. Well, I know adults is stretching it because I think it’s geared at teens but it sure feels adult to me. I can spend hours getting the look of my sim just right and then another 45 hours setting up their house.

One awesome memory you have from WoW?
Remember when Hogger was hard? Well, I do. And I remember the day I finally beat him. I literally jumped out of my chair, fists at the sky and danced.

Also, I’ve never been a top tier player so I can’t do the kind of thing that most people do for me such as helping with talents, glyphs, gear, quests, etc.

Well one time when I was running a dungeon with an old guild, I won a rare mount drop. I didn’t really care about mounts then but the girl with me from the guild ran the dungeon over and over with whoever would take her so she could get it. I felt very guilty for winning what she so coveted so I gave it to her (as we were still in the instance). It felt awesome to make someone’s day like that in game.

What’s your favorite thing to do in game?
I like archeology the best. It’s EXCITING and you get the neatest things. But my favorite thing these days is to quest with my wife and to do raids and to start being an active guildie.

What random event would you like to see Darkwind do?
I would love to do a relay race. We did it one time with an old guild. You separate people into teams. You then have them stand in a circle around something (such as around a lake or pond) and you give them a trade-able item. When the raid leader yells GO, everyone has to run to the next person in their group and trade the item. The item travels around the circle. The last person then has to run up to whoever is the judge and open a trade window with the item in it first to win.

What fictional robot would you most like to have as a personal friend?
Data. Obviously. Who wouldn’t want to be friends with Data? Show me that person and I will show you a liar. He was soooo cool. Not only was he great at everything, but he also also curious and would be an excellent fact-checker. Like BFF Google. AND he was a great dancer… <— super important when picking robot friends.

What makes you nostalgic?
Certain types of weather make me think of when I was young and outside playing with my friends or my grandpa. Anything to do with my grandpa makes me nostalgic because he was the greatest and we were inseparable best friends for all of my life (until he passed away). I can’t watch The Golden Girls, or The Carol Burnett Show without thinking about him.

What do you do for a job? What would you rather be doing for a job?
I have been a makeup artist for over 10 years. I love it, but am going back to school presently, majoring in Graphic Design and Film Editing. I want to be a film editor when I grow up. I love it.

The best part of waking up is ____?
Being next to the woman I love (Minivivi) with our fur-babies all around us!
