Darkwind Goes Pink for October! by Katastros

In honor of October being National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Darkwind will once again don the pink tabards to help raise awareness for this very important cause. I encourage all guild members to proudly wear your guild tabards all month, as well as wear any other pink items such as shirts, boots, gloves or mounts. Personally, I will be riding my Swift Lovebird!
Later this month there will also be a new event, Darkwind’s first ever (name tentative) naked race for the cure run, more details on this event in the coming weeks. This will mostly be a guild event but we encourage you to invite friends and family who may not be in Darkwind to attend. Contact me if you are interested in helping plan the event.

If you would like to make a donation to this cause you can donate to Darkwind’s PayPal account (located in the upper right side of the home page) and we will donate the grand total collected at the end of this month to the American Cancer Society or if you so desire you can donate directly to them by clicking this link.
There will also be a contest for the best screenshots of Darkwindians showing off their pink style, look for the contest post in the Events forum!
